Starvin’ Marvin is a character from the animated television series “South Park.” He first appeared in the eighth episode of the first season, titled “Starvin’ Marvin,” which aired on November 19, 1997. In the series, he is an Ethiopian child who is accidentally delivered to South Park instead of a turkey as part of a charity drive. The boys try to help him by teaching him about American culture, while the government attempts to take him back.
In later appearances, Marvin returns to South Park after acquiring an alien spaceship, which he uses to try to find a new home for his starving people. He reappears in the episode “Starvin’ Marvin in Space,” where he and the boys travel to an alien planet that they believe could be a new home for his people. However, they find that the planet is already inhabited by Marklar, a race of aliens who communicate using only the word “Marklar.” Despite the challenges, Marvin eventually helps his people relocate to the new planet, where they can live without hunger. Throughout his appearances, Starvin’ Marvin is portrayed as resourceful and resilient, often outsmarting the adults who underestimate him.
