Sherry Birkin was taken into protective custody by the U.S. government and subjected to extensive testing due to her exposure to the G-virus. She was later placed under the care of the government and monitored as she grew up.
After the events of Resident Evil 2, Sherry Birkin’s life took a dramatic turn due to her infection with the G-virus, which she contracted from her father, William Birkin. The government was highly interested in her because of the unique properties of the G-virus in her system. As a result, Sherry was taken into custody and became a ward of the state. She underwent numerous tests and treatments to ensure the virus remained dormant and to study its effects on her body.
During her time in custody, Sherry was closely monitored and received extensive training and education. Despite the traumatic experiences of her past, she managed to maintain a strong and resilient spirit. Her unique condition granted her certain abilities, such as an accelerated healing factor, which the government found valuable.
As Sherry grew older, she decided to use her experiences and abilities to help others. She joined the Division of Security Operations (DSO), a counter-bioterrorism agency, where she became an agent. Her work with the DSO put her in the field against bio-organic threats, and she was involved in various missions to combat bioterrorism.
Sherry’s story continued in Resident Evil 6, where she is seen as a government agent partnering with Jake Muller, the son of Albert Wesker. Together, they face the threat of the C-virus and work to prevent a global bio-terrorist attack. Throughout her journey, Sherry remains a compassionate and brave individual, using her past experiences to inform her actions and help protect the world from similar threats.
