The Roosevelt Inn was converted into a boutique hotel.
Originally built as a schoolhouse in 1905, the Roosevelt Inn in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, has a rich history. After serving as a school for several decades, the building was eventually repurposed. John and Tina Hough purchased the property in 1993 and transformed it into a charming bed and breakfast, which they named the Roosevelt Inn. They meticulously renovated the building, preserving much of its historical character while updating it to provide modern comforts for guests. The inn now offers a unique lodging experience, combining historical ambiance with personalized service, and has become a popular destination for travelers seeking a blend of history and luxury.
