The Mandalorian’s rifle, known as the Amban phase-pulse blaster, was destroyed. It was disintegrated by the Imperial remnant during the attack on the Razor Crest in Season 2, Episode 6 (“Chapter 14: The Tragedy”) of the series.
The Amban phase-pulse blaster was a distinctive weapon carried by Din Djarin, the protagonist of “The Mandalorian.” This rifle had a two-pronged barrel and was capable of disintegrating targets, which was a feature showcased in several episodes. It also had a secondary function as a taser, which Din used in close combat situations.
In the aforementioned episode, Din Djarin, along with Grogu (also known as Baby Yoda), and allies Fennec Shand and Boba Fett, travel to the planet Tython. There, they aim to place Grogu on the seeing stone at the ancient temple so he can reach out through the Force to other Jedi. However, Moff Gideon’s forces track them down, leading to a confrontation.
During the skirmish, the Razor Crest, Din Djarin’s ship, is targeted and destroyed by an orbital strike from an Imperial cruiser commanded by Moff Gideon. The destruction of the Razor Crest was a significant moment in the series, as it not only left Din without his primary mode of transportation but also resulted in the loss of his belongings that were on board, including his beloved Amban phase-pulse blaster. The loss of the rifle was symbolic of the challenges and changes Din Djarin would face going forward, as he continued his quest to protect Grogu and fulfill his duties as a Mandalorian.
