Gracie is still alive in “The Walking Dead” series. She continues to be a part of the Alexandria community, under the care of Aaron.
Gracie was first introduced in Season 8 of “The Walking Dead” as the infant daughter of a Savior. She was found by Rick Grimes in one of the Saviors’ outposts during an attack. After Rick discovered Gracie, he was visibly shaken, as it reminded him of his own daughter, Judith. Initially, it was unclear what would become of the baby, but Aaron, who had recently lost his partner Eric, decided to adopt her.
Since then, Gracie has been living in Alexandria and has been seen sporadically throughout the series. Her character has not been at the forefront of the show’s plotlines, but she represents the future and hope for a better life beyond the constant struggle for survival. Aaron’s adoption of Gracie also serves to highlight themes of family and community that are central to the show.
As the series progresses, Gracie grows older and becomes a symbol of the new generation being raised in the post-apocalyptic world. Her interactions with other characters, especially Aaron, show the softer side of life in Alexandria, despite the harsh realities outside its walls. Gracie’s presence is a reminder of what the survivors are fighting to protect and the normalcy they strive to achieve.
