Charles Falco is a former drug dealer and informant for the ATF. After his work with law enforcement, he entered the Witness Protection Program and has since been living under a new identity.
Charles Falco initially became involved with the Vagos motorcycle gang in California as a methamphetamine dealer. His criminal activities eventually led to his arrest. Facing a lengthy prison sentence, Falco opted to become an informant for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in exchange for a reduced sentence.
As an informant, Falco infiltrated the Vagos gang, providing crucial intelligence that led to multiple arrests and convictions. His work with the ATF was not limited to the Vagos; he also infiltrated other outlaw motorcycle gangs such as the Mongols and the Outlaws, contributing to significant law enforcement operations against these organizations.
Falco’s experiences as an undercover informant were harrowing, and he faced numerous life-threatening situations. His work was later chronicled in a book titled “Vagos, Mongols, and Outlaws: My Infiltration of America’s Deadliest Biker Gangs” by Kerrie Droban, which he co-authored, and in the television series “Gangland Undercover,” which dramatizes his undercover operations.
After completing his work with the ATF, Falco was placed in the Witness Protection Program to safeguard him from retaliation by the gangs he helped to take down. His current whereabouts and identity are confidential to protect his safety. Despite the risks he faced, Falco’s contributions to law enforcement have been significant in disrupting criminal biker gang activities.
