C-Note, played by Rockmond Dunbar, ends up in prison after being caught with counterfeit money. However, he later manages to clear his name and is released.
In the television series “Prison Break,” Benjamin Miles “C-Note” Franklin is introduced as a fellow inmate at Fox River State Penitentiary. He becomes part of the main escape plan orchestrated by Michael Scofield to free his brother, Lincoln Burrows, who is on death row for a crime he didn’t commit. C-Note’s background as a former soldier helps him contribute to the escape.
After the successful breakout at the end of season 1, C-Note becomes a fugitive. His storyline in season 2 focuses on his efforts to reunite with his family and clear his name. He is eventually captured due to his association with the other escapees and is coerced into helping the FBI track down the other fugitives in exchange for his freedom.
In season 3, C-Note is not a central character, as he is no longer in prison or on the run. However, it is revealed that he has been exonerated of his charges thanks to his cooperation with the FBI and the evidence Michael provided that proved the existence of a conspiracy.
C-Note returns in season 4, where he assists Michael and the team in taking down The Company, the shadowy organization behind Lincoln’s wrongful conviction. By the end of the series, C-Note is free and has been able to rebuild his life with his family.
In the revival series “Prison Break: Resurrection,” C-Note has converted to Islam and is living a peaceful life. He is drawn back into the chaos when it’s discovered that Michael is still alive and imprisoned in Yemen. C-Note joins Lincoln in the effort to free Michael, using his military experience and connections to aid in the mission.
