One of the Most Profitable Movies Ever
With more than $403 million in worldwide ticket sales, Obsession has earned over 530 times its production budget.
That incredible return has made it one of the most profitable movies ever made. It has also passed The Blair Witch Project to become the highest grossing live action movie made for less than $1 million.
A Surprise Box Office Hit
Few people expected Obsession to become such a massive hit. The independent horror film grew through strong reviews, positive word of mouth, and repeat audiences.
Week after week, the movie continued attracting viewers around the world, turning it into one of the biggest box office surprises of the decade.
A Career Changing Success

Obsession is now remembered not only as a horror hit but also as one of the greatest financial success stories in film history.
