Power, the Blood Fiend, dies in the first part of “Chainsaw Man” after being killed by Makima. However, her essence is later reincarnated as the Chainsaw Devil’s weapon.
In “Chainsaw Man,” Power is introduced as a fiend with the blood devil’s heart. She becomes one of the main characters and forms a close bond with the protagonist, Denji. Throughout the series, Power’s quirky and self-centered personality endears her to fans, and she becomes a key member of the Public Safety Devil Hunters.
Tragically, Power’s life comes to an end when she is manipulated and ultimately killed by Makima, the main antagonist of the series. Makima, who has the ability to control others, uses Power as part of her plan to capture and control Denji, the Chainsaw Man. Power’s death is a significant emotional moment in the series, as she sacrifices herself to save Denji, showing the depth of her character development and the strength of their friendship.
Despite her death, Power’s story does not end there. Before dying, she makes Denji promise to find and kill her when she is reborn, which would allow her to live on as part of him. Later in the series, it is revealed that Power has indeed been reborn as the Blood Devil and resides within Denji as part of his Chainsaw Devil powers. This reincarnation allows her to continue to influence the story and provides a glimmer of hope that Denji and Power’s bond can persist beyond death.
