I experienced a panic attack.
When I entered the room, I was already feeling a bit anxious due to the stress from earlier in the day. The room was small and cluttered, which made it feel even more constricting. As I sat down to work, the walls seemed to close in on me, and my heart rate began to increase. I tried to focus on my breathing, but the lack of fresh air made it difficult. My palms became sweaty, and I felt dizzy. The overwhelming sense of being trapped grew stronger, and that’s when the panic fully set in. I struggled to maintain composure, but the fear was too intense. It took a considerable amount of time and effort to calm myself down, focusing on deep, steady breaths and trying to ground myself in the present moment. After what felt like an eternity, the panic subsided, and I was able to leave the room and seek a more open and comforting environment.
