A Movie Role Did Not Change Everything
Many people think landing a role in a movie means an actor’s career immediately takes off, but Inde Navarrette showed that Hollywood can be very different.
After filming the horror movie Obsession, the actress said she went a year and a half without landing another acting role.

Navarrette explained that she continued auditioning during that period, but nothing was working out.
While waiting for her next opportunity, she found other ways to make money and support herself.
The Unexpected Jobs That Helped Her Continue
During that time, she said she paid her rent by walking dogs and streaming video games.
She also shared that she played games on a PC she built herself, showing fans another side of her life away from acting.
The Side Of Hollywood Fans Rarely See
Her story became popular because it showed that success in entertainment is not always instant.
Even after appearing in a movie, many actors still face rejection and have to keep pushing before their next big opportunity.
