Tamla Horsford’s Death

Tamla Horsford, a 40 year old mother of five from Georgia, died on November 4, 2018, after attending an overnight birthday party with a group of friends in Forsyth County.

She was found dead in the backyard of the home the following morning.

What Did Investigators Find?

An autopsy found that Horsford suffered multiple blunt force injuries, including cuts to her face, wrist, hand, and lower legs. She also had a laceration to the right ventricle of her heart.

Toxicology tests showed a blood alcohol level of 0.238. The report also found traces of THC and alprazolam, a prescription medication commonly used to treat anxiety.

What Was the Official Cause of Death?

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation concluded that Horsford died from multiple blunt force injuries after falling from an elevated deck.

Authorities ruled her death an accident, saying there was not enough evidence to support criminal charges.

Why Is the Case Still Controversial?

Many members of Horsford’s family and the public have questioned the official findings. They have pointed to inconsistencies in witness statements and have called for additional investigations.

Over the years, the case has received widespread attention through news reports, documentaries, podcasts, and social media discussions.

Despite the continued public interest, Tamla Horsford’s death remains officially classified as an accidental fall, and no one has been charged in connection with the case.
