Willie’s Duck Diner closed down. The restaurant, which was associated with Willie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame, was located in West Monroe, Louisiana. It opened its doors in 2013, aiming to capitalize on the popularity of the reality TV series and offer fans a taste of the Robertson family’s southern cooking. Despite the initial buzz and a menu featuring down-home dishes, the diner struggled to maintain its momentum. In 2017, it was reported that Willie’s Duck Diner had shut its operations. The closure was attributed to a variety of factors, including management changes and the waning interest in the “Duck Dynasty” brand as the show itself ended in March 2017. The space that once housed Willie’s Duck Diner has since been repurposed for other business ventures.
