The Traveler’s sibling in Genshin Impact is taken away by an unknown god at the beginning of the game, leading to the separation of the siblings.
At the start of Genshin Impact, players choose to play as either the male or female character, Aether or Lumine, respectively. The sibling not chosen becomes the “lost” sibling. The main storyline revolves around the Traveler’s search for their missing sibling, as they explore the vast world of Teyvat, meet new allies, and uncover the secrets of the gods and the history of the land. The Traveler’s journey involves dealing with the various factions and supernatural forces within Teyvat, all while hoping to find clues that will lead to a reunion with their lost sibling.
