Lucifer’s mom, also known as Goddess or Charlotte Richards, was sent to a new universe to start fresh.
In the TV series “Lucifer,” Goddess, who is the mother of Lucifer Morningstar, was originally trapped in Hell. After escaping Hell and coming to Earth, she inhabited the body of a recently deceased lawyer named Charlotte Richards. Throughout the second season, she struggles with human emotions and morality while trying to reconcile with her sons, Lucifer and Amenadiel.
As the season progresses, it becomes clear that her presence on Earth is causing cosmic disturbances. To prevent any further chaos and after several conflicts involving her desire to return to Heaven, it is decided that she cannot stay in the current universe without risking its destruction.
In the season two finale, Lucifer and Amenadiel’s brother, the angel Amenadiel, regains his full powers temporarily. He uses these powers to create a tear in the fabric of the universe. Goddess then decides to leave the universe and go into the void to create her own world, free from the rules and regulations of Heaven and Hell. This allows her to start anew, leaving behind the human life of Charlotte Richards, who is later resurrected with no memory of the time Goddess inhabited her body. This resolution provides Goddess with a chance for redemption and a new beginning, while also resolving the danger her presence posed to the world.
