Don Krieg was defeated by Monkey D. Luffy in the One Piece anime and manga series. After his defeat, he and his crew retreated from the East Blue to lick their wounds and have not been seen since in the storyline.
Don Krieg, known as the “Pirate Fleet Admiral,” was the captain of the Krieg Pirates and was notorious for his military might and arsenal of weapons. He was introduced as a powerful antagonist during the Baratie Arc, where he sought to take over the ocean-going restaurant to use as a ship due to his own fleet being decimated by Dracule Mihawk, the world’s greatest swordsman.
Krieg’s arrogance and reliance on weapons and armor were his downfall. He underestimated Luffy’s strength and determination. During their battle, Luffy managed to break through Krieg’s defenses, including his spiked cape and explosive spear, ultimately defeating him with his Gum-Gum Bazooka technique.
After his defeat, Krieg’s reputation was tarnished, and his ambitions of conquering the Grand Line were crushed. The last time he was seen, he was retreating with the remnants of his crew. The series has not revisited his character since, leaving his fate and activities after the defeat largely unknown to the audience. It’s a common pattern in One Piece for defeated villains to either change their ways or fade into obscurity, and in Krieg’s case, it seems to be the latter.
