In the animated series “Adventure Time,” Choose Goose is a character known for his rhyming speech and for running a trading post where he exchanges magical items for other goods. In the episode “Skyhooks II,” which is part of the “Elements” miniseries, Choose Goose, along with many other characters, is affected by a massive wave of elemental magic that sweeps over the Land of Ooo. This wave, caused by the Ice King’s crown being tampered with by Betty Grof, turns everything into one of the four basic elements: fire, ice, candy, or slime.
Choose Goose is transformed into a crystal, which is a result of the elemental spell cast by Patience St. Pim, the Ice Elemental. This spell causes the Ice Kingdom to expand and convert other beings and objects into ice or related forms. Choose Goose remains in this state until the spell is reversed by Lumpy Space Princess, who possesses the power of the anti-elemental “lumps.” Her unique abilities counteract the effects of the elemental magic, returning Choose Goose and the rest of the affected inhabitants of Ooo back to their normal states.
